Is anyone planning on seeing this?
i'll have to admit, this looks like a worthless splatter film of the worst sort, with a plot that's been tiresomely done 1000 times before.
Compare this to "Psycho" or "Night of the Living Dead"--true masterpieces, and hardly a drop of blood in them.

I saw it, loved it.
It was stupid, gorey, and full of sex. A pointless good film.

I want to see it. I don't think it's just all about blood and gore. It's tarantino man, he's gonna have something interesting going on, it's not just going to be people getting their heads chopped off.

I suspect that Tarantino is promoting the movie primarily because it pays a homage to the basement scene in Pulp Fiction.
Hostel didn't strike me as being much of a horror movie. It was more of a thriller. I thought it was mediocre.

I seen it - and going in, didnt expect very much.
The casting was strange for a tarantino film - but the main star pulled off a decent perfomance....and it had some scenes that would make most squirm.
Id give it a C+.

I've seen it*
And it is not a Tarantino film. It was neither written nor directed by him.

Ah, just the same - he was the executive producer - which means he probably had more say in the movie over all than Eli Roth did as Writer/Director.
