It was publix deli clerk when I was in high school. I made sandwiches, sold meat/cheeses, fried chicken. Cleaning was pretty disgusting. But other than that it wasn't too bad, the free munch was good and plentiful.

I worked at a used car lot for two years. I learned a lot about cars at that job, which I quite about six months ago, as I had a new job at Staples which could afford to work me more, and two would be too much.

My first job was at Wendy's. I started on a long weekend and there were about 5 bus loads of people in line. The dumb manager put me on cash with absolutely no training whatsoever. I didn't even know the names of the burgers they served and finding the right buttons under such duress was a nightmare!

15 years old - Worked as a cleaner at a Nursing home, helped the cook out sometimes. Quite disturbingly I bore witness to a very large very naked 80 year old in a bath. Both the nurse & the lady thought it was hilarious.
There was also this women who always asked for two biscuits, never ate them and would not allow them to be thrown away. You had to wait for her to fall asleep.
Then there was this old guy with a mental age of 6 or 7. At first I didnt have a clue what he was saying but eventually I learned to understand his speech problems and have to say he was the best person in there. Quite weird though when he threw strops and goddamn did he spill alot of tea

My first job was at a couple weeks after I turned 16. I worked for the local food court mainly at Long John Silvers. After about 10 months, I quit there out of boredom. About 9 months later, I went to the next city over and became a team leader at their Long John Silvers. In between, I did clerical work at the Library for a while.
I am now currently in talks to work weekends at a local video rental.

I worked at a Price Chopper supermarket, pushing carts, bagging groceries, and cleaning. After a year and a half I quit on the spot and have since regained my dignity.

Comics - that sounds like a pretty sweet gig. Supermarkets are heaven compared to the hell of fast food.
Why'd you quit?

I quit because the managers were assholes. I was once bit by a dog in the parking lot and when I went inside, bleeding, the manager told me to go to customer service if I wanted a band-aid or something. They then sent me home without pay.
Stuff like that.
