THis article just show s france for wah they are, a bunch of hypocrit liars who only care about themselves. They have some nerve, they wont help us liberate Iraq but want a piece of the pie after its over, kind of like WW2 when they got spanked then reaped the rewards after we came in and cleaned house. I hate the French, I think we are attacking the wrong country.

Those spineless jerks dont even deserve the crumbs that drop from our plates. If the war goes as we hope and pray, and we do liberate the Iraqi people, France should get what they have put into this: Nothing!!!!

Wow, people want to go to war with France because they won't go to war with Iraq.

It's fitting with their history - do nothing & then try to reap the rewards. Some interesting points in that article
"Officials in Paris say French firms' experience in working in Iraq would be an advantage."
Yeah it would be if we were going to build nuclear facilities (like why would Iraq with all its oil need a nuclear reactor !), or rearm them with WMD
"French companies — many with ties to Baghdad stretching back decades — have established themselves as the largest suppliers of goods to Iraq since a U.N. trade embargo was partially lifted in 1996."
Exactly - now we see more clearly one reason why France was playing the veto card. And speaking of veto's
"Chirac has warned that France would vote against any U.N. Security Council resolution that would give "the American and British belligerents the right to administer Iraq."
What a suprise! The UN will have 1 role in Iraq - humanitarian aid & that is it. This US administration is never going to give France a single dime of business in Iraq - so Ch-iraq can take his veto card & shove it up his ass where it belongs. There is one job we could pay them to do - come over & wash the soldiers boots.

The traditional upward tilt of the gallic probiscis has outlasted its' allure on the world stage. DeGaulle was a pompous flaming asshole as is his successor Chirac. France is trying to rest upon the laurels of centuries old leadership, and not playing the game well at all. Since they bailed from an active part in NATO some 30+ years ago, they have not been friends of the US, but more like impudent shirt-tail relatives from the old country. Like all visiting relatives, they begin to really stink after overstaying their welcome. It's time for them to step back and watch the world progress without their unwanted input.

France is finished - the next 20 years will see them reduced to the importance of Belgium.
