Wish I'd made notes on this folks, so I could be sure of the exact amount and name - but in the Jim Marrs book, Rule by Secrecy - I read how Congressman Henry Gonzales (?) - who was also head of some finance/budget committee - somehow discovered that just prior to the 1st war with Iraq, an Italian bank which had a branch office in Atlanta was given approval by Henry Kissinger and Associates ( who served as council to this bank) to funnel 5 BILLION big ones to Saddam- if not 50.
Subpeonas where quashed on the order of white house council till AFTER the war. Later when Congress had requested W.H council to elect a special prosecutor to investigate the matter, he refused to do so, stating that he found NO EVIDENCE OF WRONG DOING!!!!
Am I the only one who thinks there is something seriously wrong with this picture??

ya, you probably are willow, what else is new. Usually in war, you fight the enemy, or support the country, not dig up old dirt in an attemp to prove your hatred for america as valid. I know, you only want the truth right? Well your head is so clouded with hatred and communist propaganda the truth could hit you in the face and you wouldnt believe it. Go crawl back under your rock till the war is over OK? we dont want to see your crap, American men are fighting and dying, and your disrespecting them, and that is unacceptable, so can it you jackass.

So what - that was then, now is now. Vichy French sent millions to the gas chambers in WWII, were in love with Hitler & attacked US ships. A little bit more serious than a past misscalculation by the US - but the French try to make out they are not the same French as those guys that did all that stuff. At least the US doesn't walk awy from that & say - yeah but that wasn't real americans doing that.
