I wonder if this has anything to do with Abramoff showing pictures of him and Bush to Time magazines. He showed them to suppossedly 'sell' the pictures. Although it is believed that he was actually sending a messege to Bush. "get me off the hook or your going down too."

Bush, poses for pictures with some 1.5 zillion people throughout his duties as President. It does stand to reason that one or two of them are going to be scumbags. Abramoff is, was, a lobbyist of sorts, among other things and I have no doubt in my mind that he did finagle his way to getting his pic taken. EVERYBODY knows who Bush is, no doubt Bush had zero idea who Abramoff was until this scandal broke.

*yawn.*

Good job posting on the side story as opposed to the real one. You guys are fucking disgusting. Avoid the issue but pretends you answered it. Cowards.

Bush has removed Federal prosecuters TWICE from Abromoff's trials.

Bush’s personal favor for Abramoff: demoted Investigator, halted probe in 2002.

Bush removal ended Guam investigation
US attorney’s demotion halted probe of lobbyist

By Walter F. Roche Jr., Los Angeles Times | August 8, 2005

WASHINGTON -- A US grand jury in Guam opened an investigation of controversial lobbyist Jack Abramoff more than two years ago, but President Bush removed the supervising federal prosecutor, and the probe ended soon after.

The previously undisclosed Guam inquiry is separate from a federal grand jury in the District of Columbia that is investigating allegations that Abramoff bilked Indian tribes out of millions of dollars.

In Guam, a US territory in the Pacific, investigators were looking into Abramoff’s secret arrangement with Superior Court officials to lobby against a court reform bill then pending in Congress. The legislation, since approved, gave the Guam Supreme Court authority over the Superior Court
