I read alot on here where so and so says God just came into my life/filled a void? Fair enough, now my question is how do you know for a fact that this God is from the Bible etc? Couldn't someone feel God and at the same time{in the US} not run with the rest of the pack{Christian}?

I completely lost all hope of a higher power because of the Bible preachers and catholic church. It took me many years to feel that there is something{God, Life force, allmighty power, what ever}. When I did feel there was something more to life I searched and found out that most formed religions are nothing more then power hungry machines competing for the most followers{this way holy wars are legit}. What is wrong with believing, but instead of pretending to know who God is try to learn what God is? Someone said that science will prove who God is{or science is God}, I have to agree, absolute truth proven science and a God would be 1 in the same. How can believe we know something in 1 hand but on the other hand we know nothing about it?

Maybe its time as logical humans living in the year 2006 we make a new book and this time put facts instead of fairy tails in it? This book could be written through time until the REAL GOD is found?

Or how about we don't.

Don't you think that future generations may read it, (no matter how factual we may believe we made it), and consider it fairy tales also.

No one knows for sure until the end, maybe not even then. *shrugs shoulders*
It's irrelivant during this lifetime.
Live, love, be happy. *wow that sounded hippy* hehe*, and enjoy life however you see fit. And in the same hand, let others do that also.

What you may consider your 'real god', I may not. It's an individual thing, not a group thing and they mess up when the try to make it one. ie..organized religions.

Nothing has ever been proven, nor disproven.

Why can't that be good enough?

i dont think anything is ever going to be enough, there is always going to be supporters/critics but what i often ponder is how come when we talk to god we are said to be praying, but when god talks to us we are schitzophrenic?
