My Friend Ally came round for coffee this morning........

Last week she was pulled from her car after a thug smashed her window and dragged her out...

It was 3 oclock in the afternoon ,,,,,she was sittin in her car outside the school waitin for her daughter .....

She noticed a black ford focus drive past her and turn around and pull up behind her......

3 men in the car,,,,she watched them cus she didnt regonise the car,,,,,,1 man got out and came runnin towards her car,,,,Ally said the door was already locked so he popped the window and it smashed,,,,,he was screamin at her to unlock the door....
When she did he dragged her out and threw her across the road.......

The car is a Subru (?) and worth a lot of money,,,,it had a code thingy,,,,that means if not coded the car will cut out after a mile.....

It was found a mile down the road goin into Liverpool

The car had Allys handbag and purse in ,,,and mobile phone......

Ally has had threatening phone calls since....

She has changed her locks ,,,her alarm,,,and has been stayin in a Hotel cus she is scared to go home........

Isnt this shocking ????

I'm sorry to hear that, Red. What a terrifying experience. Was she able to give a description of the crooks to the police?

Well She said he had a Hoodie on Rendova,,,,,,

But it was in a popular area with lots of witnesses.......

So,,,,,,,,they know what kinda car was used to asist and they have a facial description .......

She is sellin that car ,,,wont get back in it and she wants to move home too......

This kinda thing is very rare round these parts....

She is gonna be ok though she has good family and friends

I don't blame her for wanting to move, and those harrassing calls must be pretty bad too. They can put a tracer on those you know.
Hoperfully these thugs will be caught soon and will spend the next several years breaking up big rocks.

PS Isn't it a shame that people can't drive a decent looking car anymore without fear of this kind of thing happening? Makes ya want to drive an old clunker, with a good engine in it tho, or a TANK.

CID have put a trace on her line,,,,,they have already interviewed a car that was spotted in the area.......

She is lookin at buying a car like a plain audi......

I hope they do get their just deserts.....

But,unfortunatley they will proberbly get away with it.....

Apparently,,,,,,,if caught they could serve more time for the actual bodily harm than the car stealing...

Sorry to hear about that Red! :( If I were your friend, I'd be moving too. Even if they go to jail, they could want revenge when they get out because if your system is anything like ours, they won't be in jail long.

It's a pain for her too, cancelling the credit cards, accounts and replacing the lost ID but at least she's physically alright.

That is sooooooooo pitiful Red .......I hope it all works out for your friend.

I actually get so mad when I hear stories like this .....the audacity of some people to think they can get away with this.

One thing I'd like to know though .......was there any money or anything of value taken from the car or from her purse.........?? This would be an indication that they did it for monetary gain ....otherwise ............there is more to this story than what meets the eye.

Sorry, to hear that happen to anyone, glad she is ok though.

I had a mustang, at the time one of the most stolen cars on the road. In St. Louis, carjacking was the popular talk of the town. Apparently the thug would be crossing in the cross walk as you were stopped at a red light and stand right in front of your car and point a gun at you. I have heard the expression in the past, "if your going to pull a weapon, you'd better be prepared to use it." I really believe that saying. Because I was prepared to run that guy over unless he shot me first. Thankfully, nothing ever happened.

It's a sad thing that a person would even have to contemplate such an act but I suppose that is the world we have come to live in.

That is shocking. I'm sure she will be shook up for a long time over that.

I saw a car jacking in St Louis - was sitting at a light on Kingshighway in a convertable & saw a jacking of a car a few cars ahead - I almost crapped in my pants.

My car is a Honda,,,,,its about 7 years old,,,,,and im due for a new one......

Ive really been after an Audi soft top.......

Part of me now is thinkin,,,,,,,is t worth it ??

Ive often heard people with new cars say they've had key scratches all the way down,,,,,,,,,or if its a soft top ,,,,slashes.......

Its just sad that in todays society u cant have what u work hard for without some Nasty Horrible Thug spoiling it.....

Frogger,,,,,,,,i believe u can relate to this !!

But then again,,,,im thinkin most of us have been at the hands of these kinda people at one point in thier lives !!!!

Would have been nice to have a couple of mean-ass big dogs in the car to surprise this guy.

Then if the dog bit the a-hole criminal he probably would have sued and the dog would have had to been put down.
