Ugh, These things are impossible to find right now!
Well, unless you want to dish out around 800 bucks on ebay. I figure that all us gamers on here can share any and all information regarding good deals on XBOX360s.

I am coming up with nothing right now .... (and wishing that I pre-ordered!)

I Hope somebody has some good ideas, because I really don't feel like spending a month's pay !

I've been harrassing every store in my area to no avail. Right now I am looking at my internet website options. Ebay has a few that ive bid on but have no chance of winning, I just bid at Limbo auctions -41414.com- as well. Looking at walmart.com and amazon.com..... not helping!

I preordered in June and still didnt get one. For now I am just going to wait until March. That is when it is expected there will be 360's on the shelves, plus, some good games will be out by then (the Outfit, Oblivion, ghost Recon 3) and you will probably be able to pick up the launch titles used for half price. If you can wait a couple more months you will be in good shape. Of course unless there is a 260 game out now you must have. As for me, I am going to just play Battlefield 2 (PC), Call of Duty 2 (PC) and Civ 4.

All 3 of which are better than any one of the launch titles the 360 had.

Travh is right about waiting, youll get second hand games for cheaper and that means more games for your buck.

Or you could wait till the PS3 releases and pick up one of the many secondhand 360's that will populate the market.

What's the deal with the 360, why is that so special. Why waste so much money on a system? I got me a PS2, and I'm happy with it...

Its the same reason the PS2 is better than the original Playstation.

Technology advances, Graphics are improved, Games are made more intricate, the usual.

Isn't the 360 at a crazy price...people ordering them in advance, I mean, when other systems came out I don't remember people preordering it. It just seems to me that people went out of their way to get their hands on this 360. It's a damn system just like any other, why go through such trouble?

To be fair Im pretty sure the same thing happened with the Snes/Megadrive, just on a smaller scale. You have to understand the scale of what Microsoft has done in order to appriciate why its sold out so quickly.

The PS2 had the same effect, and the PS3 will do as well. Games are addicting as hell and the Xbox360 is like 2 pounds of Crack to an addict they are gonna come running.
