My DVD drive (DVD+RW) is acting like a real beach. I can't play a DVD for a long period of time because it starts to skip or freeze. I use PowerDVD to play my DVD's but then I used the Interactual player and it does the same thing. I have a

if it is doing it on all DVD's i would FIRST attempt to upgrade the BOIS fromt he website, not that it will probably do any good, but tech support will ask you if you have tried taht anyway. next i would get ahold of the company and attempt to RMA the drive, because it is obvously defective. They send out alot of Bad ones now days, have had to RMA 4 in the last 3 years, all different companies. have actualy had 7 die, but they kicked it a month or two out of warrenty

I agree about the short life of current DVD burners. I've gone through 5 in the last two years. I think I'm burning too many dvds...
