I liked the movie but honestly it's not as good as the nightmare before christmas.
it lacks the rythm, humor and fantasy of the fist movie, and most of all the surprise effect.

I just really love the animation style, I am also interested in seeing the process of making this kind of animation if they have it on the special features on the dvd lol.

The Corpse Bride film was beautiful, imo. The characters, the colors, the animation, and the music. Everything was good for me. I can't wait to get myself the DVD. I didn't realize the release was so close. Thanks for the site link. I'll keep it bookmarked for the Danny Elfman podcast. That's cool. :D

I didn't really like it that much, I was expecting a lot more from this movie. Then again, im not too big of a tim burton fan anyway

I think its just as good as nightmare myself, and with johnny depp as victor its even better. Perfect casting choice. Any of you check out the site yet? The poetry contest and ecards work now :D

lol I entered the poetry contest. The desktop maggot looks really cool. I will keep the site bookmarked so that I can download it. When is the movie supposed to come out BTW? I love almost all of Tim Burtons movies so I will definitely pick this one up.

I just picked up this DVD, anyone else get it? As far as i know there are 2 editions but they both have the same content, but one edition has special box art!

I haven't seen the special edition around but I heard there was a version that included figures but I'm guessing it's rare and in limited quantities. I think I might pick up the spec edition just to have it though, whenever I pick up the standard edition of movies I really like I always feel like I'm missing out.

Whoa I just noticed the poetry contest. You can win a puppet used in the movie. After watching the special features I would almost pay (a good amount of $) for one of those puppets because they are so detailed and just cool to look at. Man what I would give to have one of those on my desk.

Duuuude. I just found out that Tim Burton is doing a signing here in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Best Buy for Corpse Bride dvds. That's awesome! Now I can buy a copy and get it signed by Burton! How cool is that? I got the info from an e-mail I recieved after entering the corpsebridedvd.com site's poetry contest.

Too bad I don't live in LA Mafia, regardless I'm glad I picked up the DVD. Now if only I could win that poetry contest. I would love to own something from the movie.

The poetry contest is now over and done with. Unfortunately, I didn't win. It's alright, though. The poems that won kicked my poem's butt. Oh, well. I still had fun with that corpsebridedvd.com site and I linked some friends to it with e-cards. They added the CorpseBride myspace page to their friendslists.
