I just had a highly unusual thought...

Do you think its possible for two people sharing the same bed to have the exact same dream in the same night?

What are the odds of something like that happening?
if in fact its even possible?

It could be possible if the setting were just right. Take two folks have them fall asleep while listening to a certain tape, audio book. It may make them have somewhat the same dream.

I do not know about 2 people in the same bed.
But, out of the billions on earth you would probably never know if it occured.

I'm sure you could find an endless amount of people who claim to have experienced just that, but in order to really know if it is possible, one would have to experience it themselves.

Remember that when we "remember" dreams as some kind of chronological story, this is nothing more than a reconstruction opertaed by our brain after we wake up, based on images left from our dreams. Dreams are not really what we later remember they were.
So two people with different "dreams" may actually reconstruct similar stories if their personality and cultural experience is very close.
