Following a discussion in the "gladiator" thread, I wonder how many time you like to see a movie.
Personnally I don't like to watch movie more than twice. And you ?

Depends on the movie.

I havae seen the Godfather movies many, many times and still enjoy them.

I have also watched, Swiss Family Robinson, the original from the forties many times and always enjoyed it.

At Christmas time I like to watch March of the Wooden Soldiers.

That depends on the film, there are some Christmastime films that I watch annually, and some movies I may watch multiple times for different reasons.

Some films, such as a movie by John Woo, don't deserve to be watched at all, other films "demand" repeated viewings---The Matrix offered an intriguing script, but you were able to watch the groundbreaking action sequences several times. But to answer your question with a number, I watch movies twice usually. Certain films allow you to follow the story the first time, while you can enjoy the action scenes or pick up on new things in the plot the second time, some films like Sergio Leone, Alfred Hitchcock, Francis Ford Coppola, Akira Kurosawa, and so on just make movies that can be enjoyed multiple times.

But the Star Wars and Monty Python films don't count, I've watched those too many times that I can't keep track, and know all the lines. :D

I'm a fan of repeat showings.
Being a lazy sort, this saves me the trouble of trying to follow a new plot.
Some of my favorites, besides "Gladiator", are "Gone with the wind", "John Carpenter's The Thing", "Road to Perdition", "Zoolander", and"Titanic" (to see the ship, not the characters).

It depends on the movie for me, i can watch twister, gone in 60 seconds, final destination 1, remember the titans as many times as I want, but some movies, i just can sit through again

I'll watch what I think of as a VERY GOOD MOVIE again, 'n again, 'n again 'n again 'n...
