View Full Version : How do you tell a democrat from a terrorist?

It sure isn’t easy to differentiate Democrats from terrorists these days.

1) Both Democrats and terrorists want American troops out of Iraq.

2) Both Democrats and terrorists hate George W. Bush.

3) Both Democrats and terrorists claim American troops are killing and harassing innocent women and children in Iraq.

4) Both Democrats and terrorists claim American troops are an occupying force.

5) Both Democrats and terrorists claim that the war in Iraq was all about oil.

6) Both Democrats and terrorists claim that Bush lied to get the congress to agree to the war against Saddam.

7) Both Democrats and terrorists claim that America is losing the war in Iraq.

8) Both Democrats and terrorists claim that Bush “rushed” into the war, and neither appears to have noticed the year of delay while gathering numerous UN and congressional resolutions and authorizations.

9) Both Democrats and terrorists hate capitalism

10) Both Democrats and terrorists hate Christianity

11) Both Democrats and terrorists hate Jews

12) Both Democrats and terrorists hate Western Civilization

13) Both Democrats and terrorists hate anybody who doesn't think like they do

14) Both Democrats and terrorists want to kill anybody who isn't one of them

15) Both Democrats and terrorists hate Israel

But, to be sure, there is one way to tell Democrats from terrorists: Democrats claim that they support the troops, while terrorists don’t.

Not necessarily how i think... but it's nice to have as much right-wing crap up as there is left wing crap that is all over allforums right now. Just balancing it out;)

I can write a post as stupid and intellectually dishonest as yours quite easily :

It sure isn’t easy to differentiate JWB from terrorists these days.

1) Both Bush and terrorists wanted this war in Iraq.

2) Both Bush and terrorists want foreign fighters out of Iraq.

3) Both Bush and terrorists claim they want to free Iraq

4) Both Bush and terrorists dislike free and independant journalists doing their job in Iraq.

5) Both Bush and terrorists claim that they are not after oil.

6) Both Bush and terrorists did not want UN to be involved in Iraq.

7) Both Bush and terrorists claim that they are winning war in Iraq.

8) Both Bush and terrorists like pizza.

9) Both Bush and terrorists love money

10) Both Bush and terrorists are religious fanatics.

11) Both Bush and terrorists dislike mice.

12) Both Bush and terrorists like to watch a good western.

13) Both Bush and terrorists hate anybody who doesn't think like they do

14) Both Bush and terrorists want to kill anybody who isn't one of them

15) Both Bush and terrorists hate Iran

But, to be sure, there is one way to tell Bush from terrorists: Bush wears a nice suit while terrorists don’t.

I had perfectly read this sentence. It doesn't make your post more intellectually honest.
So, tell us :
1- Not necessarily ? Is your first post what you think, or not ?
2- If not, what do you think ?
3- If your only point is to balance the "leftwing crap", why don't you try to post things that make sense rather than giving excuses for posting crap you don't even want to take credit for ?

I am amazed to see how rightwing members on this forum constantly whine about leftwing contributors.

If you want to debate, then debate ; if you only want to read opinions from people you agree with, go to rightwing websites !

WTF? they are reacting out of fear

You should know when making psychological statements of this type that they always reflect more on the person saying them than the people they are talking about.

Hah! How do you tell a dem from a terrorist? You'd better first figure out how to tell our terrorists from their terrorists..

Like in that deal that is still unexplained where they discovered the UK and US soldiers dressed full-out terrorist style, bombs and all. What were they up to?

ROTFLMAO -- CIA funded terrorists used to keep the war going. Somehow though, I don't think the US expected that level of transparency -- Oooops.

Depending on how you word them, you might force me into a logical trap.

Here's the funny thing...I agree with both of you (Astra & Decka).

In short, I think there's validity to both perspectives, but here's where I fundamentally disagree with the democrats: everything in life is a fucking academic exercise. I find there to be a complete and utter disconnect in the sense that logical goals are overlooked to appease the masses while every move is carefully deliberated over with ZERO regard for the desired result. In short, democrats aren't doers, and they're not idea people, but they're right. Can somebody please explain this to me?

I would say this post is in no way, shape, or form AT ALL any dumber than the whole Bush=Hitler posts....

Both are ignorant, and both are wrong.

I find there to be a complete and utter disconnect in the sense that logical goals are overlooked to appease the masses while every move is carefully deliberated over with ZERO regard for the desired result. In short, democrats aren't doers, and they're not idea people, but they're right. Can somebody please explain this to me? The last time Democrats tried to implement an idea of substance was universal health care. The plan was flawed and its leading proponent (Hillary) was, at that time, an easy target. The insurance industry, the HMO's and the pharmaceuticals went berserk. They would have spent any amount of money and used every last dime of political capital to defeat the idea.

I remember the arguments trumpeted by Rush & Co. at the time. Health care costs would go through the roof! Government will be telling you how to live your life! It's too radical! and so on. Well, what has happened to health care costs since then? Safe to say they were going to increase anyway. When workers are laid off and jobs out-sourced what is the primary reason given? Health care costs. Government intrusion? Insurance companies and employers are increasingly telling people how they must live. The justification? Health care costs. Too radical? National Health Insurance was first implemented by the Prussian arch-liberal Otto von Bismarck in 1883.

Far too many Democrats were scared off by the conflagration that enveloped Hillary's plan. They should have fixed the plan, ditched Hillary, and stuck to their guns. Instead, the lesson they took from the episode is to keep their heads down and don't make waves. As a result, the insurance industry continues to rape us on a daily basis. I'm fairly sure we are not on the same page when it comes to health care but I agree with you entirely that the Democratic Party is no longer a party of ideas.

Government supplied health care is a non starter for me.

Government is the epitome of fraud and abuse (depending on what side you gravitate to .....whether you want fraud and abuse to be in socialaista programs .....or ...whether you want fraud and abuse in .........homeland security ........defines ones position in American society today).

Think about Government distributed health care ...........the fraud and abuse in that boner of an idea .........*L*.

Maybe --- *L*---- is shorthand for;

""I'm sorry, but I can no longer address the issue being raised and still remain loyal to the GOP-supported mantra of 'Bush is our infallible Lord and Master". Instead, I'll just cover my eyes, write ---"*L*"--- on the page and pretend everything is perfectly fine, thus maintaining face while dodging the embarrassment of having to defend the actions and or policies of the political regime under discussion.""

No freethinker... that would be what you should say when someone refutes your extreme-left conspiracy theories and then you start calling them names....

An odd bit of bravado from a fellow who seems incapable of even beginning to mount a refutation to the various criticisms of the political leadership that come across these boards.

You know, at the age of twenty-three, don't you find it just a WEE bit embarrassing that your standard contribution to political debate amounts to puling --""Nyah nyah, I know you are, but what am I??""

.............?!?!?!?!
