does anybody know how to draw? I have a great idea for a political cartoon that neatly sums up my feeling about how the left wing/democrats are treating this war. The cartoon would show a group of people marching towards a cliff. The people would be singing and banging drums and cheering in a victory dance. Among the crown would be Howard Dean carrying George Bushs head on a spear, behind him would be Dan Rather carrying Dick Cheneys head on a spear, behind him would be John Murtha carrying an iraqi freeodm fighter on his shoulders firing his Ak-47 into the air in celebrating, and behind him would be several democrat senators carrying the heads of US soldiers on spears, followed by cindy sheehan, joe wilson, all the hollywood idiots carrying signs with poll numbers on them and a full marching band. Of course they would all be marching of a cliff. at the bottom of the cliff would be a spike trap and OLB and several other terrorists hiding in a tree behind a spotted owl. Man, I wish I could draw!

I don't think of any cartoonist able to do such a thing.
Maybe Hieronymus Bosch, but unfortunately he's dead.

By the way, a good cartoon is usually something with few characters and a strong but surprising idea.

like this :

"Hands up"

Travh,

This isn't quite what you wanted, but there is more than a hint of truth in it, dammit.
