View Full Version : The Comment Game

Dio Seijuro
12-02-2005, 10:45 AM
Each person will give a one to two sentence comment on something. And write down a thing for the next player to comment on. I think this'll be more fun than simple word games or yes/no. The 'comment' can be your personal opinion of the matter, something witty to say about the matter, a memorable quote about the matter (perhaps your original short comment will become a memorable quote!), or even an anecdote involving the matter. You can be funny, nasty, poetic, or quite serious, anyway you want, but try to condense it in a couple sentences! Maybe you can even write a haiku. Recurring topic is allowed.

Format:
[topic to comment on] - [your comment]
[new topic for next player]

Example:
Tony Bourdain's Kitchen Confidential - Projectile vomiting has never seemed so fashionable.

mick jagger's lips << (will be commented by next player)

I will give the first topic. Enjoy.

coca-cola - It's a curiosity this syrupy-carbonated concoction is charged so much in Europe. You'd think they mix truffle oil in that crap.

80s music -- I love it and can't get enough of it, especially the more dramatic, one-hit wonder kind, like Mickey, Jessie's Girl, Take Me Home Tonight. Examplary dramatic opening: 'Josie's on a vacation far away..."

Radio talk show hosts

Radio talk show hosts - I find the agenda-bearing nature of talk show hosts annoying. But I imagine that's the reason people even tune in to radio talk shows--to hear somebody talk about topical things from a point of view they already agree on.
