Heard about this a while ago, since I'm Canadian and with the Royal Family being a symbol to us as to the English. Anyway, I guess it's just that she's the Queen's sister that it's notable as important in some way, or that just another person dies of old age.

How dare you insult the citizens of the commonwealth and the United Kingdom like that! I'm not even a citizen of that great nation and yet still feel insulted. I know that many may look down upon the UK for still having a monarchy but may I remind you that the Netherlands have one as well? It is an important part of the country's identity and something to be immensly proud of. In days like these when displaying the American flag could be mistaken for false patriotism I never hesitate to stand by the Union Jack!
