If money were no object, and I could drive the car of my dreams, I'd cruise the roads in this.....

Nice ride, in 68' I bought a 67 Shelby Cobra GT500 Mustang with the Ford 427 engine.
According to a magazine article there are only 4 accounted for now. Price said, priceless.
Funny thing about cars, you never know what cars will be collector items later.
Sorry I sold the car now.

If money were no object... woooh where to start.
1, - 1996 Astra MK3 with a 2ltr C20LET engine conversion and Nos, pushing out 310bhp without the Nos, Id have the F28 Calibra/Cav Turbo gearbox as well reenginered to be 2 wheel drive as opposed to four.
2, - 2005 Honda S2000 with Supercharger (amidst other enginer enhancments) and Full Amuse widebody kit, painted in a pearl blue crystal
3 - 2005 Honda S2000 as standard except for 18" wheels, probably Kahns.
3 - Nissan skyline R33 GT-R
4 - Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R V-Spec.
5 - Mistubishi Evo 6, race tuned but still street legal.
6 - BMW X5
7 - BMW M3 CSL
That would tide me over for a bit, but if I had the money that quite honestly would be sitting in the stable like garages Id have.

If money were no object I wouldn't buy a car, I'd invest in a teleportation device for all my travel needs. :D

Hell yeah. I also want a Cosworth RS200. I think that's what they were called. You people with the steering wheels on the wrong side get all the good cars.

=======================================
Thanks Loki, the picture took me back a few years.
The car shown is not original and still in the 100,000 dollar range.
Probably if you could find an original for sale it would be in the half-million dollar range.
I paid 2850 dollars for mine with 9000 miles on it.
Thought I was doing well 6 months later when I sold it for 4000,
and bought a 67 L88 Corvette with detachable hard top.
I remember the vette had a sticker on the speedo that said "Do not lower windows at speeds exceeding 125 mph."

I read somewhere that only 50 or so of the original Cobras were made. You can't pay too much for them, and you can't buy them too soon, so they say!
Here's a link to the new concept car that Carroll Shelby has introduced:
