A great portion of the American population is descended from German migrants, although the U.S. is a melting pot of cultures and ethnicities, it can be argued that many of the "white" people of this country owe some form of their heritage to Germans. So, it can be argued that there are pretty people here, and so there are over there as well.
Either way it doesn't matter, there are "attractive" people everywhere, it just depends on personal outlook.
Also, beauty is judged on the inside, in which case the world is flooded with gorgeous individuals.
