The US flag from the world trade center was used in the opening ceremonies for the Olympic Games. I think it was a great thing to do as it was a definite symbol of unity among our nation. GOOD LUCK USA OLYMPIANS.

I found the fact that they used the the WTC flag very touching. I'm very happy that they chose to use the WTC flag as well. :)

yeah thats great, but they had to plead to the olympic committee people to use the flag....but in the end they won...so its all good

they should not have had to plead. they should have had the idea themselves :(

the committeee said there was a mis-understanding, and that they [i:fcdd4b340f]WANTED[/i:fcdd4b340f] to use the flag in the ceremonies...but who knows
