You cant help admire someone who's favorite food is good old, plebian Shepherd's Pie. Not fillet mignon, lobster thermador, pheasant under glass, but shepherd's pie. It takes character to have that as your favorite food.

Shepherd's Pie is a sort of pot pie consisting of ground beef (why it isn't lamb in a dish called Shepherd's Pie is beyond me), vegetables, cream, and basically whatever else you want to put in it. It is topped with mashed potatoes and baked in an oven.
