What would be really bad for the President to tell the people the United States?
A monstrous and unnecessary lie.
It would be really bad to be told there was a threat in Iraq when there wasn’t.
It would be really bad to tell the country he was protecting it while he rounded up members of Osama Bin Laden’s family to send them back to Saudi Arabia (from Boston).
It would be really bad to tell the country he is trying to improve our economy by signing trade deals with Communist China, Mexico and Canada that throw Americans out of work.
It would be really bad to say that a criminal like ex-KGB agent Vladimir Putin is a friend of his while politicians give away the names of American CIA agents.
The top most really bad thing that was done has to be the monstrous and unnecessary lie about going to war in Iraq.
The President has allowed FEMA to bill the State of Louisiana 37 billion dollars for relief efforts that they never performed. He is going to steal money from them and allow the Army Corps of Engineers and oil and gas companies that lowered the land level in New Orleans to get away without taking any responsibility for their criminal behavior.
The President is spending nearly 37 billion dollars a month wasting time in Iraq and is trying to finance his war with the misery of the Gulf Coast.
A monstrous and unnecessary lie, that’s the truth.

there couldn't have been too much of a threat -- Rove said we could wait until 2004 to invade.

So much for the imminent threat BS

He reveals that Karl Rove, the political adviser to the president, told him there would have been no problem for Mr Bush in waiting until the end of 2003 or even early 2004 and this would not have risked entanglement in the US presidential campaign.
