Actually, they are over here giving us money. The Prince's Fund, a fund funded by Prince Charles is rebuilding a whole bunch of towns in Mississippi.
The Prince and his wife are over here to show solidarity with the United States.

Prince Charles has a variety of unique interests & trusts. Some of "his" fundraising concerts over the years have been real all star attractions. While he may not be "kingly", he's not done any real harm.

In our daydreams each of us sees ourselves as royalty. None see themselves as peasants.

LOL, ain't that the truth?
And, I do a lot of family research , and it's also my second job. No on wants to talk about the nogoodniks they have in their family tree. Which we all have...they just go on and on about their "royal" antecedents in order to impress people.
I dislike Charles and Camilla because they are baboons. William seems ok.
Besides, Charles killed Di, who was a nice lady.

Rendova,
In researching my family tree I have found Burgomeisters, farmers, day workers, soldiers and serfs. I have found entries that simply said, aufgewandert, wandered off, and most times I simply found a name.

We get researchers in from all over the world. Our library is at the "crossroads" and many people passed through here, but few stayed long, which makes research difficult!
Those from overseas are amazed at the lack of continuing records! Where they are from, mainly, the records go back for generations. They are certainly fortunate, and you are lucky you've been able to trace your ancestors as far back as you have!
Also, in the south, many records were destroyed, due to war. In Richmond, for instance, during the Civil War, the entire city burned. This is a real shame for those with Virginia ancestors.
Also, in one terrible case, courthouse workers BURNED records (land deeds, wills, etc) in order to keep warm! All that history destroyed. If only they knew what they were doing. There was also a fire in Washington DC which destroyed almost the entire 1890 census. A huge 20 year gap for researchers.
We do the best we can with this kind of thing. Fortunately, where my family landed, (New England) they kept good records and had few wars/fires, and were also very picky about writing everything down esp concerning land! They were also very religious and there's many church records that remain.
PS I didn't really mean what I said about Charles killing Di. I suppose they were just a mismatched couple.

I can't find anything further back because many of the records were destroyed during the Reformation and Counter-Reformation in Germany. Some were also probably destroyed during the Bundschu War (Peasant's War).

di and charles were are products of royalty. they didn't have a big say so of who they should marry. thus you have tragedy's like theirs. charles is with someone he wanted to be with. di just got killed in a horrible accident.
i believe charles is a pretty cool, knowledgable person. he helps people, even if not of his country. he tries to do something worthwhile and intelligent. like his involvement with britians farmers, organics, environmentalism, etc.. the bumbling baboon would be revealed when he tried to have a conversation with "president" bush.

Di had as much brainpower as one of those bobblehead dolls that people stick to the rear deck of their cars.
She was pretty and Charles is decidely homely so the media lapped her up. There was no substance to Di.

Well, I don't know, Frogger. The Princess may not have been the world's smartest woman, but she was far from dumb. She also did a lot for charities of many kinds and her land mine campaign was a success.
I believe she sealed her own fate when she said on tv in front of millions:
"Charles is not fit to be king."
And he ain't! This is a guy who has never worked, can't talk to people, is a liar, and a nitwit to boot.He has never opened a door, cleaned off a plate, and god forbid if you talk to him first because that's against royal protocol. His wife has to walk several steps behind him.
No wonder Di dumped this loser.
He lacks the common touch which Diana had by the bushel!

Sounds almost identical to Bush.

Wasn't it Clinton who was surrounded by the dead bodies of those who crossed him?
