Since self study is necessary to understand each topic but while preparing for MCSD certification need some more study materials for topics like validate non latin user inputs and transform, filter data.

Why are you getting an MCSD? There are more objective and less Microsoft-centric programming certifications out there.

Its good to take MCSD as your target resource, for my 70-305 exam I studied from MS Press Books and tried free articles as in www.ucertify.com/articles/70-305.html. Its PrepKits helped me a lot.

MS press books are also equally good.
