I didn't see any poker threads in here, and I hope I don't get blasted, but since ESPN considers Poker a sport, I'll go with them.
I was just curious what everyone's viewpoint is on strategy books vs DVDs? I personally haven't had any luck with books at all, and I have about ten of them now -- I just don't have the attention span or the time. I've only seen a couple of DVDs from the Ultimate Poker Company series, and they've done more for me than any of my books. The pros show you how to pull off the tips and tricks, and you get Vince Van Patten from the WPT hosting them. Anyone else watch these that wants to make an opinion? I highly recommend them for an intermediate player, that's about where I am right now.

Poker folk in here? I actually get most of my resources from my buddy at Universal, he gets free samples of the stuff -- probably why he beats me every time.
