And it will turn out he was correct.

Fully half of the herd would not be supportive of an investigation (much less a push for anyone to be PUNISHED) into the matter even if there was videotape evidence of Dick Cheney raising a revolver and shooting Valerie Plame in the head, point blank.

Half of the remaining half have probably never heard the name *Valerie Plame*.

Half of the remaining half, even though aware of the Plame matter, will likely not find it important enough to worry themselves over.

Half of the remaining half will recognize that there's no hope of pinning it on any particluar politician or political operative.

Half of the remaing half probably are fully aware of the matter, are convinced of the likely guilt of Libby and/or Rove and/or Cheney, and are adamant that the guilty be brought to justice.

But a mere 1/32nd of the populace insisting that a politican be investigated and tried has NEVER brought about a politician being investigated and tried.

PlameGate is going NOWHERE.........the very most that will happen is that some very small fish will be thrown in by the major players and sacrificed in order to placate the people insisting on the matter being pursued.
