Hello all. I was wondering, if you had to pick your 3 favorite movies of all times, any and all catagories, which would they be? I think mine would have to be (1)The Usual Suspects (2) The Exorcist (3) Apocolypse Now Redux

Wow! This is hard..... I love so many movies in different genres....Um...I guess" Dances with Wolves", "Dangerous Liaisons" and "There's Something about Mary" (that movie made me laugh til I thought I would pass out.) After I post this I will disagree with what I said. LOL

"Pearl Harbor" sucked....hmmm.....not sure I'd go that far, but it really irritated me that Disney cleaned it up so the Japanese woulnd't be offended. Go rent "Tora, Tora, Tora" for a better movie on the same subject.
3 Favorites? That's really tough. "Forrest Gump", " The Longest Day", "A Hard Day's Night".

Pearl Harbor is a WB flick. Disney had nothing to do with its production.

No, it's not. Check this out: http://video.go.com/pearlharbor/index.html
this is the "official" site for the movie, and states that it is a product of Buena Vista, which is a Disney controlled, if not wholly owned entity.

A great movie is not necessarily one that receives critical acclaim or delivers some type of message. For example "My Cousin Vinnie" is a pretty dumb plot, and funny as can be. Marisa Tomei picked up an Oscar for her part. If you want to see a movie that will really sit you back in your seat, check out "Radio Bikini", the story of the fouth and fifth atomic bombs ever built. You'll have to do some searching, may not be on DVD. It is a documentary, and about an hour long. "Band of Brothers" was a 10 hour series on HBO, and is well worth watching. Rocky movies? Sure! Bring on the Home Alone series, the Dirty Harry collection, Back to the Future, Deer Hunter, ....no shortage of good ones out there.
