Last weekend, Michael Moore got an award for the "Best foreign movie" durng the "Cesar" ceremony, the french equivalent of Oscars.
The american filmmaker was rewarded for "Bowling for Columbine" which has been a great success in Europe.
Refering to France's attitude towards war in Iraq, he declared :
"The best definition of a friend is that this person is the one who will tell you when you are wrong. Thank you for showing the way and for taking position. Millions of Americans think like you, let us be together to stop this war."

And you should try a spelling class before you act so high and mighty tentboy. Also, unlike you, i think the majority of people who read these posts are intelligent people. And if you would quit attacking everyone with a difference of opinion from you, then i think that even more intellegent responses could be shared. But i know for a blowhard such as yourself that is asking WAY too much.

There are intelligent life forms here? Prove it.

Truth serum getting to be too much for your low breeding? You may have 3 degrees tentboy. I can neither prove nor diprove that. Nor do i want to. But, personally i think you are a liar. Half of your rhetoric looks as though you went to encyclopedia.com to find some big words to put in a sentence. There is rarely any flow to anything you say. You try to hide your ignorance with verbal taunts to anyone with a differing opinion. I think you are just using this forum to TRY to be a bully because in real life you are nothing but a punk.

Let me reiterate tentboy. I THINK YOU ARE A LIAR. There is no way anything you espouse could possibly make 10,000 people want to pay attention. And the best way for you to "improve upon your 50,000 messages is simple: Dont post anymore. If these forums were free of your verbal pollution the world would be a better place.

Tent's pathetic attempt to cover up his mispelled word was hysterical, I actually laughed out loud. Although I have him on ignore, I had to see what was meant by "hugh", it was my chuckle for the day.

LOL........i think it is funny/sad that someone devotes all this time and effort to maintain a facade. I mean....all it would have took was a simple "I meant to say huge, not hugh......and look what it has turned into. But it makes me laugh to no end. And i hope you disregard anything tentboy says. Like i said in earlier posts, he is just an insecure mental midget. So consider the source when it comes from him.

skills honed to a razor edge

Tent - Your posts are just getting plain boring, you say nothing much and you make few points worth repeating. You have a certain point of view - you're not lacking in smarts - so be smart & make your points in a way that has some value, or why waste your time.

"Michael Moore's critique "Stupid White Men" won at the British Book Awards in LondonMichael Moore's controversial "Stupid White Men," a blistering critique of the current US administration by the award-winning film-maker, received Britain's book of the year prize.
(…)
Moore's book, which rakes over the coals US President George W. Bush and his team, was carried to the top spot by telephone votes from the public, which were for the first time counted alongside those of the official jury.
"It looks like a very strong anti-war vote both from insiders in the book business and the public," awards organiser Merric Davidson said."

Like I said, the moderator is a pathetic queer. Deleting a post that is a direct response to an insult by Alessa shows it. MESSAGE: FUCK YOU YOU FAG. I read a post by Borghunter the other day. He threatened to ban someone if they talked about HLA (hardcore lesbian action). Yet this thread doesnt even warrant a stern warning? Am i missing somethin here?

*yawn* Well I see Tentmaker is throwing a tantrum again. What I said was barely an insult, and you spouted quite a few obnoxious insults yourself. Grow up. Any way, back to the topic, Didn't Michael Moore also do somekind of documentary about the car manufacturing business? I seem to recall something I watched like that or am I thinking about someone else?

Havok, Tentmaker has repeatedly accused Borg of not being a fair moderator, so I think he has been trying to be as fair as possible, but I agree that Tentmaker really is crossing the line and I think is baiting people deliberately to see how far he can go.
Put him on ignore, that way you only have to read his pathetic posts when you choose too.

That is sounding better and better all the time Alessa. I understand Borg is trying to be a fair moderator.....but enough is enough. Anyway, ive read many posts by Borg and he always seems to be very moderate in all his views. The only person who could possibly have a problem with him is tentboy.

Thank you all for sticking up for me. :D Tent just gets a little excited when he is reminded that people don't always think the way he does, and so articulates that with insults and such.

Alessa,
about M. Moore, yes, his first movie was "Roger and Me", a documentary about his attempts to meet the CEO of GM to talk about the way GM laid off many people in Flint (M. Moores' hometown) while making huge profits.
He also made a movie called "The Big One" about social problems in the USA.

A dynasty of French kings (987–1328), including Hugh Capet (940?–996), who was elected king in 987, thereby permanently removing the Carolingians from power, and ruled until his death. The expansion of territory and centralization of power under the Capets began the movement toward a unified France.

What could this possibly have to do with the price of tea in China?
Omar the Tentmaker lashes out once again using its' rapier-like wit. Guess that rapier needs a stone.
Reminds me of an old adage: "...dazzle them with brilliance, or baffle them with bullshit...".

At least you tried to explain to me what a "hugh war" was. All that nasty talk over what was an innocent mistake of words. It must be tough to not be able to admit a simple mistake. Guess if you refer to yourself as a deity for too long you start to actually believe the hype.
