Sean Hannity the other day. he had some guy from cindy sheehan's camp on. and it was an awesome interview.
The guy dodged all of Hannity's Q's... so sean said he had one more
"You say you hate george bush. Well, when he said "we have to go to Iraq to get the Weapons of Mass distruction out. the weapons are a great danger. We need to do this for the american people. we need to stand up for our country" (something along those lines, sorry not verbatim) and you are telling me that you thing george w bush is a liar when he said these things."
young kid: yes, i am
Sean: Well, you just told me that John Kerry was a liar. he said those things.
that was a great political moment.

I listened to that particular Sean Hannity episode as well. The part I remember in particular was when that kid said he wanted John Kerry in the Whitehouse because he was "more susceptible" to public pressure.
I want a leader, not someone "susceptible" to whoever screams the loudest.
Dammit.

What sheer unadulterated idiocy.
""It turns out that John Kerry and GW Bush both lied about the WMD situation in Iraq, they both were wrong-headed and misgiuided as it regards the illegal and ill-advised Iraq war, sooooooo..........that must mean.... Republicans WIN!!!.........Hooray!!!""
It is ZERO surprise that Kerry and Bush were on the same [incredibly FUCKED UP] page concerning Iraq. They're both elitist, Ivy League educated, (in the case of GWBush, I use the term **educated** euphemistically), Skull and Bones, corporate toadies with little to no connection with or empathy for the poor and working classes.

wow. this is completely and utterly stupid.
Bush lied.
Kerry lied.
Whats your point and how was it a great moment? I assume you think it was some sort of victory to what? Show that both parties are full of shit?
Kerry wasn't anti-war. He was just trying to coopt the anti-war movement. Did hannity even bother to ask this kids if he supported Kerry? My bet is no. All it shows is that Hannity is nothing but a propagandaist. And appearently hes good at it because you got yourself all wet over his silly remarks....

I don't know. They have a point. Kerry and Bush are both lying, two-faced typical politicians. But we knew that long, long ago. I don't think Hannity was being particularly insightful or clever, in fact. Politicians lie...it's not new information.

So Hannity has resorted to picking on kids? What's next for him? Pedophilia?

10-03-2005, 10:53 AM
Wow. You all take this harshly. To answer the question the kid DID say he supported kerry, so i dont think you should jump to conclusions, when you didn't hear the segment.
Everyone gets all huffy puffy about this, and yes, we all know politicians lie, but rarely, does the other party see it that way.
Bush wasn't the only one who went into this war, congress had to vote on it. The sole blame can not be put upon him. Yes, he proposed it, but they voted on it. and "he was lying about weapons of mass destruction" is going to come up. But everyone including congress, obviously thought that there was a threat there. Otherwise, they would have never voted on the war.
I think we should all take a breath.
Bush is in office, weather many of us like it or not, so we have to deal with what the COUNTRY's majority voted for.
AND
if the "kid" as i called him, is old enough to be on sandy sheehans side of things, make an opinion.. support it, and GO ON SEAN's show, then he's obviously old enough to be questioned.

I think more than a few of them ---if they did not have to answer to the rabid citizenry, who had been whipped (by Bushco's lies) into a war hysteria--- would NOT have voted for the war.
Many were no doubt terrified to NOT vote for it for fear of the campaign of character assasination the Corporate Media would have subjected them to.....and also for fear of the anger of the sheep back home who are their constituents.
Knowing the war was trumped up bullshit and having to take a stand and vote AGAINST that trumped up bullshit are two different things.

Thats all well and good. But that still doesnt make me understand the leap in logic you took to associate Hannity's debate with a young adult, to him participating in pedophilia.
I hope you're not crazy enough to believe that Democrats dont also have their pedophiles/undesirable's as well.

Maybe if you are in congress, voting on the most important issues of the country, you shouldn't be afraid about voting against something you think is wrong, just because of media backlash. The media aren't the ppl who vote on what to do in this country, so if you are in congress, you are supposed to be doing what is RIGHT not what other ppl think is right.
