So this thread all relates back to the Plame outing.
Judith Miller was in jail and has just been released. She recieved a letter from Scooter Libby (Cheneys right hand man) that appears to contain some cryptic messeges. Heres the part that is particularly interesting...
[Libby] closed the letter [to Judy Miller] on this personal note (although he wasn't quite right on when autumn begins): "You went into jail in the summer. It is fall now. You will have stories to cover--Iraqi elections and suicide bombers, biological threats and the Iranian nuclear program. Out West, where you vacation, the aspens will already be turning. They turn in clusters, because their roots connect them. Come back to work---and life. Until then, you will remain in my thoughts and prayers."

I am breifly summing up some of the propositions from these threads. Heres a breif break down of the (suppossed) hidden meaning:
You went into jail in the summer. It is fall now.
1. Things are different now
2. theres a fall guy now
You will have stories to cover--Iraqi elections and suicide bombers, biological threats and the Iranian nuclear program.
We need you out here pumping out the propaganda for us.
(BTW the biological threats seems pretty creepy in there seeing as how there hasn't been any lately)
Out West, where you vacation, the aspens will already be turning. They turn in clusters, because their roots connect them. Theres a lot of speculation on these sentences in particular. Out West could mean but they all point to one guy:
1. W - GW
2. West wing
3. Crawford = western white house
The Aspen reference could be 2 things:
1- some think tank thing (the Aspen Institute (http://www.aspenberlin.org/report_detail.php?iEventId=32) - connected to Chalabi) (is also connected to Bolton/ Bolton visited Miller in prison) (Of which Miller is also a member (http://www.aspeninstitute.org/site/c.huLWJeMRKpH/b.612047/k.1222/Aspen_Strategy_Group.htm)
2- A group of prominnant Neo-Cons (and may others)who were in Aspen for some party at the time of this letter being written (at which Rove was the featured speaker) (Novak even wrote about the Bush bashing that was occuring (http://www.townhall.com/opinion/columns/robertnovak/2005/09/22/155676.html))
1. Turning means something like changing opinions (or loyalties) on something
2. 'turning' states evidence for reduced pleas.

1. We are all in on this 'turning'
2. If one goes we all go

2. the emphasis on work seems to be a veiled threat. "Serve us through your work and you will live" possibly?
Now this letter alone is very interesting and suggest a major shift in the political climate. However this statement made by George Stephanopoulos seems to confirm the hidden meaning:
"Definitely a political problem but I wonder, George Will, do you think it’s a manageable one for the White House especially if we don’t know whether Fitzgerald is going to write a report or have indictments but if he is able to show as a source close to this told me this week, that President Bush and Vice President Cheney were actually involved in some of these discussions."

So is Bush gonna take the fall while his puppetmasters cut the strings? He has managed to screw up all of their plans (not to say their plans weren't screwed from the beginning).
