I enjoy reading and have books all over the house, in the den, in the kitchen, in the bathroom, in the home office and a few thousand on library shelves in the basement.

My reading tends to be mainly history with a concentration on medieval history or mystery novels, although I am now reading, The Gentleman from Indianapolis, a collection of Booth Tarkington works.

The lasat book I read before this one was, Medieval Warlords, a biography of five medieval warriors.

I don't subscribe to a newspaper but I read three newpapers daily; The New York Times, Newsday, and The New York Post.

I subscribe to the magazines, History Today, and Wood, and purchase about a half dozen other magazines each month.

I used to belong to the Book of the Month Club and the History Book Club but found the constant sending in of the response card to be too much of a pain and I now just go and buy what I want at Borders or Waldenbooks.

I am a 62 year old white male with a post graduate degree.
