definitely off-beat humor. i dont think younger people will get it necessarily (unless theyre informed perhaps about current events). personally, i found the pirate stuff humorous...

well, i can't tell if youre being serious/sarcastic or not. But if you need it explained to you, then you obviously dont 'get it' so to speak. the humor is not for everyone and it wouldnt do any good 'explaining' it. different tastes. imagine explaining seinfeld to someone who didn't like it. it still wouldnt be very funny to them. it's ok, bertha. no one can demand you to find something funny. i guess they could...but would you honestly find it funny?? :p
