There is a taboo against having sex with animals and babies too. If you use a rubber it doesn't make it okay.

(The taboo against incest was born well before the condom or the pill. We still have a taboo against it which began with the reproductive issue, but it has become part of our culture. "Incest" is disgusting to us like eating grub worms. Some people in the world eat grub worms happily. You could have sex with your clone happily but it's against our mores )

Will a clone be granted status within society as a human being? That's yet to be seen. Sex with one's clone may be regarded as some form of rather exotic masturbation, a little kinky perhaps, (a lot kinky?) but not considered taboo. Societal values change with the passage of time and as new things become reality. Ninety years ago in the US, giving women the right to vote was taboo. Today we can hardly imagine why it was ever an issue.
Grub worms aren't real bad. Not something you'd want as a staple food, but certainly not inedible.

But let's say the "clone" was genetically identical to you in every way except gender. Sex with that person would certainly be taboo, because that's as closely related as you can be to someone without being the same sex. The reason incest is taboo is due to the fact that incest results in a much higher frequency of genetic defects to children born to such a relationship. Such concerns would be aggravated if someone had sex with such a "clone." Unlike eating grub worms or allowing women to vote, the reasoning would be well-founded.

I do not see why a clone would not be considered as a human being.
A clone is not a facsimile - it is a different individual, with the same genes but many different features and a personality of its own. And, most of all, a difference in age - so at least sex with one's clone would be pedophilia.
