Yes, good article. Chirac has made a big mistake. What he said is not acceptable, and undermines his position. His attitude towards east-europe countries is similar to the american govt's attitude towards Germany and France : "How dare you disagree with us ? If you are not with us, you are against us !". Not the best way to dialog with other countries.
