They've got a pretty interesting sound. They seem to shoot more for artistic purposes than marketable ones.

These At-The-Drive-In vets are definitely picking up speed.

Any fans out there? Anyone like them? Hate them? What songs do you like? Did you see them live?

Open for any chat about them :)

Their video freaked me out, I forgot the name of the song. It was a great song but ugly video.

I never watch music videos, i think it detracts from the music.

Bah! You guys sicken me, are there really no people on this site who are fans? much less, have even heard them? or seen them?

The lyrics of their music seem rather odd...just strings of words seemingly improved that have no relation and tell no story (from the first glance, anyway) and the vocals sound a bit...different. But then again, so did Plant and many of the classic rockers.

Their albums are pretty much one long song split into parts with different names, and all tell one collective story with characters. They are one of the more creative bands around today, and give great live shows. Check them out-

Interesting songs:

Roulette Dares
Eriatarka
Inertiac ESP
Cicatriz ESP
The Widow
Cygnus...Vismund Cygnus

Don't worry, you're not the only one anymore. :P I was introduced to them before their album Frances the Mute by my friend who's a big fan of them and bands similar to them. Hmm... and songs that I like by them... can I just cheat and say everything on De-Loused in the Comatorium and Frances the Mute? :P
