When I try to save a picture from the internet to my computer it only gives me choice of saving it as a bmp or art. I am trying to save a picture that is a jpeg to my computer and I cannot save it as a jpeg. Is there something I can do to save a jpeg?

Er, what browser are you using? And give me an example of the image you're trying to save as a JPEG.

One of the many jpegs I have been having trouble saving to my computer is located at http://stuffed-animal-toys.com/Images/Products/Large/CC0111.jpg

I am using either AOL or Internet Explorer and my operating system is windows xp. Thank you.

Well, I don't know what the problem is. The image can be saved as a JPEG just fine for me, in both IE and Firefox. Speaking of, you'd have fewer problems if you started using Firefox instead of IE. And, furthermore, AOL is the Los Angeles Clippers of ISPs...

The problem is that I cannot save to a jpeg. If you can that is great but I need to. I need to find out why I can't and how to fix it.

Download a trial version of either paintshop pro or photoshop, then open the file in that and save it as a JPEG.

Well excuse me all to hell, then. I'm sorry I'm not a magical pixie that can accurately diagnose unusual problems with only a couple lines describing the issue.

Dear Borghunter

I am sorry if I insulted you. I appreciate your effort to help but I am really desperate right now

Have you tried Firefox yet? It might be a good workaround.
