This is nothing new.
The ConservaFascists have always been quick to jump on any member of the uber-Conservative clan foolish enough to *jump the fence* and start revealing the truth about politics to the sheep.
It happened with John McCain just a short time ago. He began speaking to the people as if they were rational, starting dissing religion, told the truth about war, and his OWN Party apparatchics tore into him like piranhas and destroyed his presidential chances.

?!?!?!?!
You really are not aquainted with the nuances of the English language, are you?
The reference to *cannibalism* was not literal.
(and i'm SO shocked that a rightwinger would view it that way....lol)
Guerilla was talking about them "eating their own"......in the political sense.
Hard to believe an adult human being couldn't figure that out.
But then............

The *cannibalism* remark WAS the reference.......and was clearly meant to indicate that the Republicans had resorted to "eating their own".

The cannibalism remark wasn't some arcane, Byzantine reference. It wasn't some "inside joke" that could only be understood by a select few.
It was simple enough for a 12 year old to grasp......especially in light of the fact that my response to it expanded on the idea and made the context even more obvious.

Aw, come on.
Don't laugh at him.
Don't laugh at an ignorant person who cannot comprehend a reference to *cannibalism* that a 12 year old could have grasped.

WTF?!?!?!?
The *wolves quote* at the bottom had absolutely nothing to do with helping anyone grasp the intent of the *cannibalism* comment, nor did the wolves quote serve in any way to place the cannibalism remark in context.

I understand where some of your cynicism and derision come from, FT, but this comment is totally far fetched, and well...pretty stupid - but that's just my take.

This is very true - he does...
I think Trav made a funny observation when he declared FT the official Chicken Little of Allforums.
