I was just listening to the Micheal Medved show.... and he brought up a damn good point.

Why is it "overlooked" that BILL CLINTON, yes slick willy, proposed a bill, which by the way was unanimously agreed upon by Congress, that said it was THIS GOVERNMENT'S POLICY to get a REGIME CHANGE IN IRAQ.

sooooo ANY complaints that you liberals have about Bush ousting Saddam can actually go PAST bush and RIGHT to Clinton LOL

If you could cite the bill that would be helpful. Because I actually doubt that's what the bill said word for word.

However, when Clinton was in office he didn't have the most recent UN Weapons Reports to go off of, and we had not been hit by 9/11. 9/11 was a signal to protect our nation and freedoms, not a signal to spread freedoms around the world.

These were different times with different things occurring. You can't compare what Clinton may have said or done about Iraq, to when Bush said things about Iraq, because there was different information out and different events occurring in the world.

Just because Clinton may have passed this bill does not mean it gives Bush a pass. Bush actually physically went to war, Clinton didn't.
