I was curious as to what everyone is running here. Waht kind of proccessor, how much RAM, video card, sound card, connection, monitor and everything else.

Me:

- 3.2 ghz Athlon (OK)

- 1,024 MB RAM (kickass) started with 512 MB but wasnt fast enough so added another 512 stick

- 256 MB ATI Radeon 800XT video card (kick ass!)

- 80 GB hard drive (OK). I was told anything over 100 GB could develop problems, so I went with the 80.

- Soundblaster Audiogy card (kick ass) added this as the onboard one blew

- Comcast cable with wireless rounter for Xbox live connection downstairs (was told I couldnt drill through the floor) (kick ass!)

- 19" sony monitor from my old dell. Pretty nice, but getting old, looking for new flatscreen that can handle fast games.

Overall I am very happy with my system, I have put a lot of work and money into it. the thing I am most proud of is I did it all myself. the upgrades that is. It started out as an HP 810e.

For my next computer I want to build it from the ground up, I think that would be fun.

Shockingly similar to the system i built awhile ago, but i plan to be selling it to someone soon, When the 360 comes out i'm getting that and rebuilding a better PC to handle the new age of games.

PS: get a better monitor trav

AMD has never made a 3.2 GHz chip. Ever. Their highest clock to date is 2.8 GHz.
