I got a recent overview of the federal budget Bush is proposing. Here it is:

Reciepts: $849.9 billion from individual income tax, $764.4 billion from payroll tax, $169.1 bill. from corporate income tax, and 138.5 bill. from "other" sources

Reciepts total: $1.92 trillion

Spending: $505.5 bill on Medicare/Medicaid/other healthcare programs, $497.3 bill. on Social Security, $390.4 bill on Defense, $387 bill. on Unemployment/Welfare/Veterans, $176.4 bill on debt interest, $113 bill. on highways/environment/ disaster relief/other, $85.5 bill. on Justice/foreign affairs/other, $85.3 bill. on Education/training, and $43.6 bill. on Science/technology/farm

Spending total: $2.23 trillion

I think it's kindof fun to imagine how I'd adjust the budget. What does everyone think?

Definitely get rid of welfare and all the socialistic programs that FDR started back in the Great Depression. They were a good shot at trying to fix the Great Depression, but they didn't work then, and they are bringing down our budget now.

Bush would be as broke as the rest of us if you had that tax.

We need Clinton. Aside from the adultry and scandal. We need him back to get us out of this mess Bush created. He did it the last time a Bush f@#$ed it up for us bring him back just to give Bush a little push in the right direction.
