Reading Tentmakers outbursts were amusing at first. And it is interesting to hear the viewpoints of someone who sympathizes with the terrorists. However, after reading post after post, hypocrisy after hypocrisy, racial slurs, sexist comments, and limitless other unwarranted insults, I refuse to read any more of the total garbage that Tentmaker writes.

Good luck to the All Forums Network. Until you disallow this sort of behavior, you will not be able to keep any sort of sane conversations going. Allowing someone like this to disrupt thread after thread just doesn't work.

Agreed. Something needs to be done...I've noticed that none of the mods have been on since at the latest Friday. Besides which, even when they are on, they don't do anything about Tentmaker.

I agree with Karankawa. Since Tentmaker has been posting here, most of the threads have lost interest . People spend more time replying to his insults than debating seriously. In fact many of the senior members have already deserted the forum. If nothing is done to restore a minimum of politeness in the debates I think I will.
Just stick to the "Terms of use" everyone is supposed to have read and agreed with.

Karankawa, RW, Just put Tentmaker on "ignore" mode. Astrapol suggested this to me and now my posting is much more pleasant, plus you dont have to wade thru the boooring, wordy crap that he posts and can still have the enjoyment of debating and talking with normal sane people. Dont let the words of a troller, bug you, he does what he does to get much needed attention. That's what trollers and flamers do.

To give Tent at least a little credit, his controversy was part of the reason I got involved in this forum in the first place. Unfortunately, the debates he sparks degenerate into such hostility that it borders on insanity.

I know, he is good at starting an interesting debate or maybe adding to one, but then turns it into an "insult-a-thon" which becomes pointless. So I am in ignore mode and actually enjoying myself now, I just really hate to see an interesting open forum ruined by trolling.
