Sooo...
If anyone pays attention to sports other than the big 3... im sure you have heard about Tennis's Guillimo Kanas getting a positive drug test, and being suspended from play for TWO YEARS....
meanwhile, Rafael Palmero of the Baltimore Orioles tests positive for drugs... and gets 10 games
hmmm seems one sport is just a joke while the other actually has standards.

OMG! I hadnt heard about this. I feel ashamed as a tennis player.

I think one of the reasons for this disparity is because of the huge difference in players' salaries--that is, an average baseball player's salary compared to a tennis player's.
Doesn't make it right, tho.

Well, a tennis player doesnt get a salary. They earn their own money. Sampras, is the richest of all time (at this point, winning something like 41 million.

the Super Bowl Champs, World Series Champs, NBA Finals Champs, and Stanley Cup Winners should make the most money......

I agree.
They should be playing for their pay, not being paid to show up.

they don't even have to show up, they get guaranteed money... hell they could sign the contract and retire the next day, and the money would be guaranteed.

Or they can be on the DL and IL the whole season and still get paid. Freakin Allan Houston.
