Pentagon devising scenarios for martial law in US

According to a report published Monday by the Washington Post, the Pentagon has developed its first ever war plans for operations within the continental United States, in which terrorist attacks would be used as the justification for imposing martial law on cities, regions or the entire country.

The details in the article seem totally reasonable to me.

the thing that cracks me up is all of this stuff they find is published in reports, its not uncovered by dug in investigative journalists. A country having plans never used to be a bad thing. more alarmist crap trying to whip up hysteria. get a life guerilla.

Ah, the plan to be able to beat you over the head, shoot you or just flat out take full control. What a wonderful plan to have! WHAT THE FUCK COULD THAT EVER BE NEEDED FOR?! Think for one fucking second. Now give me ONE reasonable scenario that would warrant something such as that. If you can come up with a single one, I don't necessarily think you agree with the concept of "freedom".

And therin lies the problem. They don't believe in freedom. They support the pattriot act, they support forcing religion down childrens throats at school, they support their religion being sanctioned by the state, they support allowing big corporations to control our countries political policies. Freedom? hell, they have no idea how easy it is to loose and how hard it will be to gain it back.
