Have you seen this? 309 people evacuated and survived the Air France plane. The crash was due to weather conditions during landing. The storm was so bad you couldn't even see.

We got a heads up about the British survivors, wasnt sure about the numbers of other people on it though

I am about 1 1/2 hours from Toronto but it would only be about 45 minutes away if you could drive straight. You could see the storm brewing "up north" with many lightning strikes. As soon as I heard about the crash I thought that the plane must have been struck by a bolt.

I'm about 20 minutes from there, and on the news you see traffic on the 401, people stopping and snapping pictures of the wreckage.
