Very interesting link.
On reading further, I noticed that it takes 10 or 11 minutes, at the speed of light, for pictures to travel from mars to the earth.
This fact is a real-life reminder of the distance we are viewing.
I am sure the water makes travel there more practical.
I wonder what would happen if we could install some solar heat generators to evaporate the water back into the atmosphere there.
