Personally I like Sex and the City better. I could related to the characters. HBO lost a good show and now ABCs profiting from a rip off of sorts. My point is am I the only one that misses the show or are you into Desperate Housewives.

I like both!

Sex and the City was funnier...but I like the dark shit...I don't think the two can really be compaired.

Sex and the City has humor. I prefer to not watch television that tries to be dark and taboo. I don't watch much TV, but i'd rather watch a bunch of outgoing laughable ladies in New York than a bunch of lying, stealing, cheating suburban housewives and their secret masquerades.

TV sure has gone down in recent years. Many hit shows are coming/have come to a close, such as Raymond, Friends, King of the Hill, The Simpsons, Frasier, Seinfeld. The news anchors of old retired or died. Commercialism is the key now for many once educational or children's programs. Now the replacements are dramatic serials with darker subject matter or cheap, quick, trashy reality TV (Lost, Desperate Housewives, CSI, The Apprentice, The Bachelor, etc). How sad...

Sex and the City was hillarious.

I tried to watch an episode of DH and couldnt make it to the second commercial break. The only reason i made it to the first commericial break was because i thought i might not have given it a fair chance. What a waste of 20 minutes of my life. :(

I much prefer DH. SATH was about a bunch of spoiled bitches who had far too much money and too much time on their hands.

DH is funny and Eva Longoria is very easy on the eyes.

I like Sex and The City a lot, but can't compare since never watched DH. Not very interested to even try watch one episode of DH now that I've read what most of you had to say.

.SATH was about a bunch of spoiled bitches who had far too much money and too much time on their hands.

Based on the show's premise, the reason why these women have a lot of money is because they are all intelligent, ambitious and pretty independent career-minded women. In other words, they are paid their worth. To me spoiled means you don't do anything but use other people's money and can't do anything yourself. I don't know why they would seem to have too much time on their hands either, all of them are constantly busy it seems.
