Mr. and Mrs. Smith-it was decent. Couldnt really get passed the fact that he left Jen for her.
Wedding Crashers- a little crude, but funny.
The Island-didnt watch it. Spent a good amount of time making fun of it on here though.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory-genius. Pure genius. I loved it.
Batman Begins-pretty good. def. the best batman movie.
Madagascar-horrible.
Fantastic Four-more like the fantastically corny
The Longest Yard-very funny, and good acting...dont hit me over the head with that hammer, goldberg
War of the Worlds-pretty good. could have had a better ending (even though it was an adaptation)
Monster in Law-very funny.
Cinderella Man- simply incredible. Academy award shoe-in
Bewitched- it was ok.
Herbie Fully Loaded
Dark Water-not watched it.

Believe it or not, this summer, I haven't been to the movies since Star Wars came out. I don't know why, though. But oh well.
I LOVED Sisterhood of the Pants (stupid Jere..lol joking).
I have an um *ahem* bootleg of High Tension (haven't seen it yet. I think I'm waiting for the DVD.
Episodio 3 was grand.
I'm gonna go watch the Dukes of Hazzard and that's about it.

The movie that I am looking most forward to in, King Kong, by Peter Jackson. It looks terrifying.

I forgot to post mine, so here they are:
Mr. and Mrs. Smith- sexy, action packed, funny- a quintessential summer flick
Wedding Crashers- Crude and ulgar, the Frat pack humor does not appeal to me often, but this had a clever premise and made me chuckle
The Island- A fun chase thriller, not great, not bad
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory- Good, i liked Willy Wonka/Factory better
Batman Begins- great, the way the old movies should have been
Madagascar- skipped it
Fantastic Four- Fantastically Horrible, one of the worst this year
The Longest Yard- i hate sandler (plays the same role every movie and its not too funny), skipped it
War of the Worlds- amazing effects, lots of adventure, captures fear well, meaningful ending despite what people say, I expected it to suck, and it was fabulous
Monster in Law- haha clever, but 'Crashers' is more worth your cash
Cinderella Man- Predictable, feel-good movie but well acted and touching. it will be Oscar worthy, despite my objections
Bewitched- More for the ladies
Herbie Fully Loaded- You wouldnt catch me dead here
Dark Water- horror isnt my cup of tea, skipped
Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants- Chick Flick, skipped
House of Wax- They remake a Vincent Price classic, bastards!
Crash- good film, good subject material
Layer Cake- great great gangster picture with the soon to be James Bond, Daniel Craig
Unleashed- Jet li american films suck, this is no exception, well choreographed and edited though
Land of the Dead- George Romero is a horro genius, i plan to see this
The Devil's Rejects- Rob Zombie. See it if you like horror movies
Bad News Bears- Not for kids, but not funny enough for adults
The Perfect Man- skipped this chick flick
The Honeymooners- i refuse to watch them destroy a classic
Rebound- i would rather drink puke than watch this
March of the Penguins- A documentary about penguins, not much. See if interested
Lords of Dogtown- im not a skateboard fan, or of this movie. I was expecting better
Hustle & Flow- Pimps and rapping. Wouldnt even think about watching this
Howl's Moving Castle- Miyazaki makes another good kids film
High Tension- S is for skipped
Mad Hot Ballroom- missed
Rize- WTF
Me and You and Everyone We know- b o r i n g
Paheli- when was this out? missed
Heights- s
My Summer of Love-s
Saving Face-s
Bunty Aur Bali- missed
Kicking and Screaming- Will Ferrel and his Frat PAck buddies need to try hard to get me laughing, and here he didnt
Kung Fu Hustle- Awesome, Reservoir dogs but funnier and chinese style
Kingdom of Heaven- A flop. Lacking strong lead, no battles sans one that was dull. The top billed actors (neeson, irons) get 5 minutes screentime
Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith- SUPERB. i loved every minute, Cheesy line delivery though (although people do not realize that the old ones were cheesy and laced with poor dialogue also, time does that to people). Great effects, music, editing. Cool story, action packed, great characters. Epic, intense, YODA. The end left me in tears
And thats my list ^^ whats yours?

I bash over a dozen films on that list worse and you pick that out (and yes, it is IRREFUTABLE that Traveling Pants is a chick flick and a chick book- sorry i just had to point that out.
King Kong? Dukes of HAzard? notice whats in common with that and several other films on this summer list: REMAKES
K guys, keep posting reviews and such, i am going to make a new thread about Hollywoods lack of ideas

I can try, but it is hard. I love movies so much, going several times a week. Its either an addiction or a very big love of mine.
And i need to see the remakes to pass personal judgment on whether they are good or bad. So that is kind of iffy.

I've only actually seen a small handful of movies this summer, but here are my opinions on most of them.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith - Might rent it sometime, looked liked typical summer drivel (aka pretty faces + big explosions)
Wedding Crashers - Surprisingly excellent comedy. I enjoyed it alot!
The Island - Haven't seen, but will check it out eventually.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - Looks like Tim Burton hit another homerun...I plan to see this asap.
Batman Begins - Top-notch bat action, very impressive despite minor flaws.
Madagascar - A shame this wasn't the "next Shrek"...decent at best.
Fantastic Four - I'm a comic fan and even I won't see this trash.
The Longest Yard - Mediocre Rock/Sandler shtick.
War of the Worlds - One of the best this summer, methinks. I'll be buying the DVD for sure!
Monster in Law - Shit.
Cinderella Man - Same team as A Beautiful Mind, which means I will see it.
Bewitched - I had hoped Will Ferrel would again deliver...and he didn't. Shit.
Herbie Fully Loaded - Should never have been made.
Dark Water - Bah, looked terrible. I'm sick of Connely screaming all the time.
Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants - Chick flick that I myself will never see.
House of Wax - Shit.
Layer Cake - Would like to see.
Bad News Bears - Check out Bad Santa for a far funnier movie.
The Perfect Man - Shit.
The Honeymooners - Shit. Fuck Cedric the Entertainer!
March of the Penguins - Will watch with my ex-girlfriend if I ever win her back. She fuckin' loves penguins.
Lords of Dogtown - Shit.
Kung Fu Hustle - Meant to see this but college kept me busy...planning to buy.
Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith - Sweet finale, easily the best of the new trilogy...though that isn't saying much.
