Hello!
I would like to invite the members of this board (amongst the others) to come visit my new bulliten board. It is called The Phoenix Lair! Which is named after me of course. :)
I opened up a whole array of topics to discuss, so feel free to chat about anything and everything your heart desires.
I want everyone who visits to keep an open mind that my board is still spanking brand new.. Meaning there aren't a lot of people or posts on it yet. With that in mind, please stop by and post something. I hope to see some of you there. :)

Maybe but even I am having some problems reaching my site. Sometimes my webhost is a bit too slow. I'm looking forward to switching hosts when I get a chance. :) So just have some patience, hopfully we'll be up and running in no time. :)

I registered, its using CGI, based yaBB which isnt bad, but a little bad for load unless you have a reliable server.
If you ever need help I can point you in the right direction for that:)
Hope to see more people around there.

Thanks Computerguy! Right now I'm looking at the same host Stacy is using. However they are converting over to a new server and I'm waiting it out so I get on the new server rather than the old one. :) Until then I'll have to live with some slow load up times for a little while at least. I've noticed when the server is running good, the board itself works like a charm. :)
So far I've had a couple people tell me, oh go to a PHP board, they have more features. However I chose YaBB because it was the only choice I had for the host I'm on now. However even if I switch I'll probably stay with YaBB. I think it's a excellent board to cut my teeth on, and actually it works well for what I want anyway. :) Can't beat the price of Free either. :)

Actually I'm looking into a couple of other options for hosting. There is another fellow that's looking to get several others to chip in on a dedicated server.. If enough people get in on it, we'll each only be paying $10 monthly and each of us would have a butt load of server space and unlimited bandwidth. Not bad huh? :)

Hello! I just thought I'd let anyone that's been fallowing this thread know that the Phoenix Lair has moved to a better site than the old board was on. So anyone that comes to visit should not have problems browsing around the Phoenix Lair now. I also chose Burning Board as my bulliten board software. It's pretty speedy and I really like it. The new URL is www.phoenixlair.cyberwings.com . Or just click on my board link in my sig!

Ok, hopfully my bulliten board won't be moving anywhere any time soon. Due to problems with my sub domain after my webhost changed physical locations, I had no choice but to purchase a domain to fix a serouse DNS problem I was having. Now that the DNS problem is resolved with the new domain, I started fresh over from the start. I have the same look and the same discussion, but now my user base needs to be replenished. :) I had trouble backing up my database, so I couldn't save anything.. Bummer.. But that's ok, just like it's name sake, it gets to rise from the ashes and have a fresh start.
With that said, please feel free to come visit the Phoenix Lair. Make yourself at home and discuss anything and everything that comes to mind. You can discuss anything you like. Religion, sports, computer tech ect. ect.
You can reach the Phoenix Lair through my sig, or just point your browser to www.phoenixfury.com!
