Hate is a strong word I think to hate something would be the same as wanting it dead. I hate cancer, child molesters, killers that toture. Even though I don't hate a certain type of person I can hate some of the crap that is put out by their type. Gay parades, christain shows that worry about nothing but money, hunting shows that abuse the animals, etc....

I hate stop lights! They seem to turn red for no damn reason except to make you stop. You see a stop light from a distance, if its red, it'll stay red till you've approached the damn light and come to a full, complete, total friggin' stop. Of course, if the light is green, it sure as hell will be red when you get to the damn intersection.

I hate TV shows where the guys seem to be whispering to one another, then the commercial comes on and suddenly the audio is some five times as loud.

I hate commercials, period, especially radio commercials. Geez, there is this one radio station that I was forced to listen to, they claim to stop the music only twice an hour, I though to myself "yeah, for 25 minutes at a time."

Dammit!

I'll get off the soapbox now.

Not for me - they turn green when I'm doing about 5 mph. Which sucks with a stick shift because you're stuck between lugging 2nd gear or an awkward downshift into first.

Let me clarify something, Blob. I do not think that you deserve to go to Hell. Hell is a very complex concept to me. There are those in the world that I can understand going to hell (cerial killers, pedophiles, terrorists)...but there are those that I do not understand why they must suffer the consequences of Hell (nonbelievers or even believers who are non-born agains).

Nevertheless, it is God's rule...and it's the way he, in all his infinite wisdom, chose to go about things. Giving me more reason to want to WITNESS <- (Thats for you Borg).

You don't understand the line of offense. Numerous things you say can be quite offensive to the non-Christian, yet you never notice it. I just follow the idea that whether or not somebody takes offense at what I say shouldn't stop me from saying something.

I understand there is a difference in types of offenses. The things I say that non christians may take offense to are things which not meant to be of offense. You on the other hand say things with no regard, only other than being sarcastic.

I believe its better b/c:

-It lacks sexist beliefs and practices
Believing in a male god is sexist. Wiccans believes in a god and goddess. It is blanced that way.
-Enviromental compassion.
It is said in Genesis 1:28, that mankind is to subdue the earth and to dominate all of its living creatures. This is just stupid.
-Morality
Christianity is too strict. If a christian has sex before marriage it is a sin. If a wiccan does it is thought to (in some cases) be a good thing.
-Simple laws
Wicca has only one law. "Harm none and do as ye will"
-It is not Hypocritical
Christianity is hypocritical in that it teaches love towards all when christianity shuns gays, and any person of a different religion. In some cases this leads to hate crimes.

These are only a few reasons. I'll put more reasons later. I am sorry if this post seems rushed, it is.

As for MK, Id personally enjoy learning about Wicca and its heritage since from my experience the Wiccans I've met have all been very peaceful, quite reserved in their beliefs but at the same time outgoing in their personal expression of them and just interesting to be around.

How does it sound wicked?? The first part was "Harm None" thus eradicting the wickedness of the second line "Do as you will", not to mention they believe in the protection of all things so really and truly are so far removed from the word wicked its total obsurdity to suggest it.

I'm a unicorn.

That's pretty pointless if you ask me. Just because he is male, does not mean he is sexist. A man who decides to live alone instead of becoming married....does that qualify him as being sexist?
It's more the old jewish and christian idea that the woman must obey the man. No amount of "but you must be nice to her" will counteract the fact that the bible says that she must obey. The bible is chock full of sexist ideas. Whether you follow those is not up for debate, it's the fact that they're still at the heart of christianity and countless millions follow those ideas.

Man has dominion over animals. Man was the reason God chose to create this world. Animals were put here to provide us.
Just because it says it in the bible doesn't mean it isn't stupid to lots of other people.

And this makes your religon better how?
In so many ways...

That's not a simple law, thats an obsurdity. Do as you will? Sounds a little wicked to me.
Harm none. Don't ignore that as countless millions of christians ignore the concept of "Thou shall not kill". And since I believe the number of christians is in the billions, billions kind of disregard the whole rest on the sabbath thing and the bannage of "any graven image, or any likeness of any thing...". Since we can pick and choose what is to be interpreted literally I guess that doesn't count, now does it?

Now, I think you are confusing what some Christians do with what is actually taught to us. We are supposed to, and most of us do, love everyone. Even the worst kinds of people (pedophiles, rapists, terrorists)...we love in the form of atleast we hope they can change their ways and make it to heaven someday.
I happen to think that's another biblical thing. "Love all" says Jesus. "Except these" says the old testament, and in some occasions in the new testament.

A philosophical view might be:
An infinite, eternal god can have no boundaries and therefore no attributes. It could not have a gender nor any other finite property.

A theological view might be:
God is the creator of all including the concept of gender. God has no gender because He created gender.

Sadly, He seems to have created gender in order to create sexism:
1 Corinthians

14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.

14:35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
