Okay a few guys I know always talk about playing Halo and I just want to know, what is that game about? What makes it so popular?

One of the flagship XBOX launch titles, Halo reignited the dying ember that was FPS. It offered a diverse storyline (with a weird truly irratating ending) and a handful of fun vehicles to drive, one of which allowed to fly.

Whilst the AI wasnt amazing, they did hold their own in the hardest difficulty setting meaning tactics had to be employed and the good use of grenades was imperative.

One of the best features was the two player Co-op which also allowed for the usual link cable connectivety and split screen. This meant you werent abnormally outmanned in the hardest setting and yet allowed for the right mix of challenge.

Halo 2 bettered everything from the first and most importantly added online play via Microsofts massivelly popular XBOX LIVE service. A variety of standard FPS multiplayer games exist and possibly the most genius thing is that you can do 2 player split screen xbox live against the rest of the world.

The original will be dirt cheap to buy now so go get yourself a piece of classic gaming history.
