GO TO WWW.EBOLD.COM/~SAVESOUTHFORK

We need letters, people to print out flyers and submit them to generate letters and people to go online to www.ferc.gov and file their comments under E-file, Docket Number P-12053.

View the photos of the river being drained and endangered fish habitat destroyed by agricultural interests. Now, they want to install a hydro plant at levels just a bit higher then those indicated.

Write a letter to Modoc National Forest, 800 12th Street, Alturas, California 96101 and have everyone write one, as well, protesting this hydroelectric plant. Tell them how you feel about the flows, the destruction of fish habitat and the draining of almost three miles of river, much of which is on federal forest land.

Help save this river for future generations!

Why do people think they need to post such stuff multiple times. You posted this here & in politics. I deleted the other thread and have moved this to chat - it's not world news buddy.

My opinion is they should follow their plan and the river shouldn't be saved.

I measure rivers in califoriai for a living. what exactly is your issue here? FERC requirements mandate year round fish releases. these are enforced by people like me who monitor the level and ensure ratings are accurate and up to date. If ag is stealing the water, the best thing you could do is put a hydro plant on it as this would require a gage below the dam to ensure minimum fish release year round.
